East Bay Real Estate – A Fresh Approach

A Fresh Approach to East Bay Real Estate

Kicking Off the Theater Season

I believe that the theatre and movies, like a good book, can transport you to another time and place.  All these mediums enable you to travel “virtually”—to other places, cultures, life-styles—and allow you the opportunity to see the world through different eyes…in essence, the opportunity to understand.

I have long felt that travel is the great educaton but as a small child before I was able to travel, I came to love this feeling of total immersion and enrichment.

We are fortunate in the Bay Area to have such incredible resources for theatre, movies and live music so close at hand.  I encourage you to take advantage of them – often – as I do.

Have you noticed all the excitement going on in the new Downtown Berkeley Arts District with the new Freight and Salvage joining the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, the Aurora Theatre Company and the Jazzschool on Addison Street?

Berkeley Rep kicked off its season with the powerhouse production of American Idiot featuring songs from the Grammy-winning album by local band Green Day.  I believe the shows were sold out even through the extended run.  It was great to see the energy and excitement around BRT and, though at the date of this writing no theatre has been confirmed, there’s buzz that it’s Broadway bound!

Aurelia’s Oratorio runs through January 24th and sounds like it will be a magical and mystical production – I’ll let you know my thoughts after I see it.
